The AFSCAN Board is calling for applications for two AFSCAN Scholars, one English-speaking and one Portuguese-speaking, from Sub-Saharan Africa, who will attend the Southern European Veterinary Conference (SEVC) in Seville from 23rd to 25th October 2025.

AFSCAN is a ProSalus Foundation initiative that facilitates capacity building in the African community to enhance quality in small companion animal medicine, promoting a One-Health perspective.

Based on the generous support from Hill’s Pet Nutrition, AFSCAN can offer these scholarships for African veterinary graduates to gain new experience in veterinary medicine by joining SEVC Annual meetings in Spain.

Applications must be submitted by the closing date of 31st May 2025.

Applications must be submitted electronically to marcondes.mary@gmail.com, with a clear indication in the subject title of the message that the e-mail pertains to the AFSCAN SEVC SCHOLARSHIP. Submissions that do not include all requested documents will not be accepted.
